   Duration: Days

 Instructor Ratio: 1:12

Outline

These courses provide training in the operational activity that falls within the Tasking and Coordination Group (TCG) ICS (Incident Command System) and is chartered in the TCG doctrine. TCG operations by their very nature can be fast paced, complex and demanding.  Such operations  will often involve several units whose actions must be precisely controlled with a robust command chain:

  • Bronze Commander (Operational)
  • Silver Commander (Tactical)
  • Gold Commander (Strategic)

The model is not based on a hierarchy of rank but reflects the chain of command based upon an operational role.  The purpose of the course is to relate the difficulties of an operational commander and examine effective decision-making, communication and tactical planning/ execution.
